Het malste is als ik dan weer eens iemand heb beledigd, ik vrij vaak te horen krijg dat ik niet professioneel ben, en dat ik slecht voor de Konijnen ben. Het eerste klopt, ik doe dit werk volkomen vrijwillig en word er dan ook ook niet voor betaald, én er is geen diploma voor, dus ben ik een soort van leek.

Slecht voor Konijnen?
Hoe definieer je goed zijn voor Konijnen dan?
Al die fora spreken elkaar nog al eens tegen met hun adviezen.
Een hoop mensen zijn te krenterig om naar de dierenarts te gaan, en gebruiken naar eigen inzicht medicijnen, is dat goed zijn voor een Konijn?
Veel worden alleen gehouden, is dat goed?
Veel worden gedwongen gekoppeld, is dat goed?
Ze moeten op schoot zitten, aan lijntjes lopen, maar mogen niet graven of buiten rondscheuren.

Zo kan ik nog wel even doorgaan. Dan beledig ik nog veel meer mensen. Want wat je ook zegt of doet, er is altijd wel iemand die zich in haar eer aangetast voelt. En dan krijgen we nog slechtere recensies op de fora.

We proberen hier uit alle macht te voorkomen dat de Konijnen (weer) bij een of andere idioot terechtkomt die er mee solt. We proberen eigenaren te vinden die een dier een dier kunnen laten zijn en ze niet als levend ornamentje zien. Niet als verlengstukje van hun eigen ego. Terwijl de Konijnen daarop zitten te wachten, krijgen ze hier aandacht, medische zorg, fatsoenlijk voer, water en hooi, schone hokken en op zijn tijd wat bewegingsvrijheid. Meer kunnen we er niet van maken. Maar voor minder gaan we ook niet.
